High-Speed Franklin County Car Crash Leaves Four Dead, One Injured

A high-speed car crash in Franklin County claimed the lives of four Pennsylvania residents and left a fifth person injured, according to a recent article on PennLive.com. The driver of the car lost control after passing another vehicle, and the car careened through several front yards before crashing into a fire hydrant, a tree, and the front porch of a house.

At the time, the car was carrying three young men and a young woman. No one in the car was wearing a seatbelt. The three men were thrown from the vehicle when it crashed, and they were all pronounced dead at the scene, along with the woman. A fifth person, a young girl, was taken to the hospital with injuries and remains in critical condition. Police are investigating the Pennsylvania car crash, but they are not yet sure which person was driving or whether alcohol or other intoxicants played a role in the crash.

Reckless or careless driving, whether it takes place in a residential neighborhood or on a freeway, can easily injure or kill vehicle occupants, pedestrians, bicyclists, and others on the road.
